All stamps were hand picked for exceptional centering, never hinged up to and including the 5c, the 6c to 20c values are lightly to very lightly hinged. #77a has ever so light toning spots, still a very fine, fresh and choice set, rarely offered as such.

262 og/nh 74-84, 88 image1898-1902 ½c to 20c Queen Victoria Numeral Extended Set, all mint, with a hinged basic set of 18 stamps, including two shades each of the ½c, 1c, 2c carmine (one without gum), 5c, and three shades of the 2c purple, plus a #88. Also includes a mint block of 4 of #88 (lower two stamps are NH), a block of 9 of the 3c purple (4 stamps are NH) and a block of 60 of the ½c with selvedge at bottom and left (foxing on several stamps, some separation and overall light gum adhesion, otherwise fine and NH). 271 O 85, 86 image1899 Calendar Collection of the 2c Map Issue, neatly mounted on 12 calendar-like pages by 1899 date (each page is a different month), with 313 different dates. We note a variety of postmarks, including duplex, c.d.s., squared circle, RPO and more. Includes three pieces, one dated DEC.16.1898, one DEC.23.1898 and one DEC.31.1898. Many of the pages have notes by Richard Lamb alluding to plate varieties. A better than usual collection of this sort, because of the legibility of the dates, fine to very fine.
