Large Queen Varieties, all identified and displayed on 16 pages, with useful blow-up scans of the varieties, which are for the most part constant, with some that have not yet had their constancy proven. We counted 33 stamps, plus another 6
covers. We noted several shades as well as useful postmarks, especially ring numerals, and the varieties include major re-entry (Duckworth D), goatee, shaving nick, major cracked plate (Duckworth A, B and C), re-entries (Duckworth I and J), S flaw,
missing UL frameline, dots (Duckworth M, N, K, L), scratches (Duckworth F), and more. Overall fine to very fine, a great lot for the specialist. (Scan 1)

of the 3c Large Queen Issue, with a good variety of material including a Newmarket UC dated postmark, a group of 6 stamps used to illustrate different Duckworth papers (1, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10), a strip of three on soft white blotting paper, six stamps
chosen to illustrate a range of shades, 5 stamps each showing letters of the Bothwell watermark, and an 1869 cover from Paris to Maine with a pair which appears to be of the soft white paper. A few small faults, still an overall fine to very fine
