Major Re-Entry on 1873 Cover, mailed from Madoc on MAY.20.1873 to Toronto , through Belleville, with next day receiver. The cover is franked with a 1c yellow orange Small Queen and a 2c emerald green Large Queen with major re-entry from plate
position 7. Small faults to cover which do not detract from the clearly visible re-entry, part of backflap missing, still very fine. Accompanied by a 2020 Greene Foundation certificate. (Scan 1)

Queen Varieties, all neatly identified and laid out on 18 pages, many identified by plate position, with useful blow-up scans of the varieties. Mostly includes constant plate varieties, plus some where the constancy has not yet been proven. We
counted 54 stamps, including some multiples, two unused (no gum) and many shades and possibly papers, as well as useful postmarks throughout. Some of the varieties include spur in left margin (state one), the major re-entry (pos. 7), needle nose,
incorrectly drawn guidelines, multiple guidelines, missing LL frameline, engraver's slips, and more. Overall fine or better and a great lot for the specialist. (Scan 1)

registration fee), the latter clearly showing the "spur in left margin" constant plate variety. Horizontal crease at top affecting corner of 6c SQ stamp only, very fine and attractive, a seldom seen franking combination, especially with a listed

of 2c Large Queen Issues, with a good variety of items, such as a mint hinged single (looks reperforated), six stamps used to show a range of shades, 5 stamps used to show Duckworth papers (1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10), a single which appears to be
imperforate at bottom, three stamps showing letters of the Bothwell watermark, two with dated town postmarks and an 1870 mourning cover front with a 2c LQ and 6c LQ franking tied by a fancy Toronto rosette cancel, addressed to England. A few faults,
