19 CVR 21ix image½c Black Large Queen with Major Re-Entry on 1883 Cover, mailed Newton Robinson, ON (only recorded strike of this Simcoe county instrument, and earliest postmark for town) on APR.9.1883 to Indiana (APR.12 Codland Ind. transit on back). Franked with a 2c Small Queen and two ½c Large Queens, with left one showing a clear major re-entry from position 1. A late usage of this issue, as the ½c Small Queen had been issued roughly 9 months earlier. Brigham owner's handstamp on back and small faults, still very fine and scarce.
