671 / c, entire, etc. imageFalkland Islands Dependencies: South Georgia: 1942 (Apr. 9) envelope addressed to Arizona, U.S.A. sent unsealed franked 1/2d. tied by SG3 c.d.s., delayed by southern winter with Ushuaia Oct. 15 receiving backstamp, the cover subsequently returned to the Argentine whaling station on the island where Argentina 1c. affixed and cancelled by Feb. 14 1943 Islas Georgias Sud c.d.s. and then once more to Ushuaia where a further Argentine 1/2c. has been added and cancelled on Feb. 22 before apparent sending on to its destination, although no U.S. receiving mark appears.
