Lot 959 - LONDON 1839 CONVEX FRAMED "FOREIGN PAID": 1839 EL (filing creases) ex Paris to London with very fine curved red framed "FOREIGN PAID" (Willcocks 1074) partly over stamped but not obscured by "PAID" tombstone ds, and Paris cds and framed "PD" adjacent. On back is a fine "LONDON/27/NOV/1839" Foreign Section cds (Willcocks 1010b). All hs's excellent. Opens for display. Attractive.Cross Reference: FRANCE.... Currently GBP 80
