Lot 177 - SPECIALIZED U.S. REGULAR ISSUE MINT PLATE BLOCK COLLECTION, includes a couple hundred various Regular Issue plate blocks, mounted on Scott album pages, there are a few early blocks and strips included, the collector made an attempt to collect matched sets of plate numbers - even in the earlier issues, so there is duplication by issue but different positions and plate numbers, about half of this lot is NH, expect some seps and scattered faults, there are items here with values in the $100-300 range with a few higher, there are some Airmails, the collection runs to about 1949, a really good collection for the specialist in this area and certainly plenty of breakout value, well worth a good look.
