The 'Lionheart' Collection of British Empire Part XXIV - January 21, 2026

Lionheart Part XXIV features a superb section of Cape of Good Hope with all printings covered including a good range of mint and used multiples of both Perkins Bacon and De la Rue issues, Woodblocks including an error of colour and a lovely range of single examples of all printings. As well as this key section, the sale features very fine single country collections and rarities from across Great Britain and the former Empire, including a superb mint example of the Malaya Straits Settlements 1902 $100, a mint 1919 Nyasaland £10 and superb Southern Rhodesia 1932 Victoria Falls vertical pair with the imperforate between variety.
