32124 Forgery   imageWood's PHILORA Philips lamp "Made in Holland", used by SPERATI, with three PHILORA Philips HPW 75 light bulbs, two screw-in bulbs, one bayonet bulb, and one bayonet adapter in a wooden box, without plug, used condition and not ready for use. We enclose a certificate of loan of the lamp by Sperati to the Aerium of Château Reinach in La Motte-Servolex in Savoy, which was used for ringworm research in 1947, as well as instructions and two ceramic bowls. 32125 Forgery   image"La Philatelie sans Experts?" original edition with only 300 printed in 1946 (for 300 FF). This N.101 with the signature of Jean de Sperati. On a advertisement leaflet we found the note: "a special mention at the place of the signature, invisible in daylight, but visible under a quartz lamp (Wood's light) identifies this ORIGINAL EDITION" and under UV-light we found an inscription (we don´t mention it here and hope the collector will enjoy with little secret...). Noteworthy: in our last Sperati special sale we discovered the secret of Sperati´s secret notes: he put a mark on the back of the stamps before he send it to experts, only visible under the Wood-lamp, so he could proof he fooled the experts. The book contains 126 pages + 6 boards and is the first we have seen from the original edition. Key item for the Sperati collector. (Image 1) (Image 2) (Image 3) (Image 4)

32126 Forgery   image1943, two documents from his court case in Chambery. Both are official copies that were paid with 60 and 24 FF and were for the lawyer Francois Roche, Grenoble. They contain "Rapport d´Expert" and "DOSSIER : l´Administration des DOUANES contre DE SPERATI Jean". They come together with an old copy of the famous 18 stamps that were part of the trial and a glass clichee showing these 18 stamps. 32128 Forgery   imageLes Jean de Sperati "Philatelie d´Art" template book (15x20 cm) with note "lettres-fragments" which was obviously used to sell his perfect reproductions, showing that he not only reproduced stamps but sometimes put them on covers, which are incredibly rare, this book therefore unique and a proof of his work in the field of covers.
