 Animals - Horses: Lifetime collection of appr.1300 covers (extras not counted) housed in 2 large boxes, usually with old buying prices in the range between 20 and several hundred DM for a cover, but also up to a 2000DM. Starting in the
17th century and the rare stamp pre-runner envelopes Cavalini, noteworthy is an interesting section of German State Braunschweig stationeries. Ukraine letter from Kiev franked with a revenue stamp which was not accepted (1904) and charged, cert.
Holcombe. Amazing part USA with locals, Pony Express and several beautiful Fancy Cancels. Advertising covers from Mexico, France, Germany, Austria, Russia, Zemstvo postal stationeries. Rare private postal stationeries of Bavaria etc. Beside the
covers the part of classic stamps, private post stamps, proofs, Epreuve de luxe etc. is also extremely valuable with a scarce proof DR 779 (cert. Schlegel BPP), USA Locals, Pony Express, Sweden proof, Uruguay essays. According to the prices the
collector invested over 60.000 EURO in this collection which contains material for multiple exhibition collections or an own special shop/auction on the popular theme horses. (Image 1)
