10115 RHM 2 image1843, 60r black, intermediate impression, very fresh with large margins on all sides including outer frame line at left, on reverse of 3 October 1852 entire letter to Rio de Janeiro, tied by "CORREIO GERAL DE CUIABA/18-" in magenta with inserted date in manuscript (Ayres 1139). Two light creases passing through the stamp but of little consequence and cover slightly cleaned as usually found. The letters from Cuiabá -six recorded and all with the same franking- are highly desirable as these represent the latest usages recorded in the "Bull's Eyes" issue (the latest being 13 March 1854). Cert. Juchert (2001).(Image 1) (Image 2) (Image 3)

10116 O RHM 3 image1843, 90r black, early impression, a delightful vertical pair originating from the base of the sheet, enormous margin at bottom, being even and wide on other sides, showing quite complete red strike of "CORREIO GERAL DE CUIABA/18-" rimless cds (Ayres 1139). Three 90r examples are recorded exhibiting this postmark, and consequently being unique in multiple; a visually impressive pair, very scarcely found with sheet margin. Cert. 10117 RHM 2 image1843, 60r black, early impression, a magnificent example originating from the right of the sheet, boasting a strong colour, unusually detailed design with margins being all balanced and large on three sides, enormous at right, tied by superb strike of "DIAMANTINA" double oval hs in brown (Ayres 1290) to 12 November 1844 entire letter to Rio de Janeiro. One of five genuine covers recorded from Diamantina (this being unrecorded in the census published by Juchert-Maassen); of even greater significance is the fact that this is probably the finest "Bull's Eye" 60r found on letter; and importantly a rare usage on the front of the cover. Cert. Sismondo (2000).(Image 1) (Image 2) (Image 3)
