72571   image1945-2013, Fantastic collection in 4 albums, the modern period (3 volumes) stuffed with additional imperf sets and souvenir sheets plus occasional specimens, the first volume is a treasure trove of the earlier issues incl. those for 1946-54 North and South Central Vietnam (see Michel) with rarities galore (to € 500 each catalogue value), some multiples and varieties included, and strong Dues and Officials as well. Nearly everything except a few proofs is listed in the latest Michel, and the total catalogue value promises to be enormous, as some of the modern varieties are difficult to find. Nearly everything is faultless and nh (incl. those issued without gum) Please note that the collection features some forgeries and fantasy issues, incl.: -so called Viet Minh issue (star on yellow/orange) -so called Independence overprint (overprint on standard Viet Minh issues). -the four large format imperforate Ho Chi Minh stamps in brown, blue green and red. These are actually labels that were made to look like stamps and that someone privately produced and sold for gain. -all the Family Left Behind issues (in the original the boy next to the mother has a right ear lobe that is missing in the fakes) -all the North-Central Vietnam Ho Chi Minh issues including the ones on letters-FDCs (the originals have no gap between the letter A and M in the word Viet-Nam) -Michel Nr. II (photocopy and copy of a photocopy) and Michel Nr.III and IV (photocopy) A brilliant lot for even the advanced collector, please examine. Estimate: € 10’000 – € 20’000
