both on thin paper, neatly tied by framed "HALMSTAD 17 3 1856" to
entire letter to Aalborg. The 4 Skilling tiny part missing at top,
otherwise a fine and fresh cover. A very scarce mixed franking
paying the 12 Skilling rate to Denmark, this cover was last seen in
1974 (Kihlströms auction, 39th sale, lot 195A). Signed Sjöman with

endorsed "Insured for the sum of 150 kronas", with adjacent framed
decorative truncated "WÄRDE". On reverse five intact wax seals.
Some very light peripheral toning at places, of no significance. A
fine, attractive and very scarce three-colour franking, correctly

some values with certificates Chiavarello, followed by a good
selection of the 1872/77 issues with both perforation types, noted
4 ö. grey (Mi.-Nr. 18A-B) unused, 5 ö. green (Mi.-Nr. 19A-B)
unused, 1878 1 kr. brown & blue perf 13 (Mi.-Nr. 27) unused, tiny
shallow thin (certificate Chiavarello), also 1879 "Tretio" cliché
