1843: Bulls Eyes 30 r. black, intermediate printing, an impressive horizontal pair from the right corner of the sheet, showing the plate dividing lines at top, vivid colours, used with the framed "CANTAGALO" on
an entire letter written in Santa Anna and sent to Rio de Janeiro, dated inside December 7, 1843. The adhesives defective, with some acid-ink damage, two vertical creases (one affecting the right stamp) and other faults. Despite the imperfections, a rare item, illustrated in Juchert "Bull´Eyes on Covers" where the use on cover is noted as questionable (fig. 233, page 296).
