35112 bof image1d. red-brown, plate 5, vertical block of eight, lettered NI-QJ, chiefly good to large margins on three sides, just touching at food and just touching in places at left, cancelled with multiple strikes of black Maltese Cross, some imperfections including wrinkle to NJ-OJ, PI-PJ with horizontal crease, and sealed tear at top of NI, as expected on such a large multiple, a rarity of this plate, being the largest recorded multiple. Gi. AS29. Since the Fleming Block of eight (QH/RK) was reduced to a block of six (QI-RK), this block, alongside a strip of eight used on cover, is the largest used multiple recorded from Plate 5.
