1850/1930: Three large stock books containing assembled material from Turkey, mostly from the Ottoman era, beginning with the Duloz period and featuring many of the beetle-like overprints (some of doubtful authenticity), as well as items from the early Republic. Additionally, there are better stamps from Albania, Bulgaria, and Romania, along with a considerable number of lower-value stamps from various countries, with a focus on the Balkans and Eastern Europe. Many of the stamps display selected, often well-centred cancellations. An intriguing lot, well-suited for philatelic study.
