946 imagePapua 1960: 'POSTAL CHARGES 6d. IXIXIXIXIX' on 7½d blue with 'POSTAGE' blocked out, a regular stamp that is nicely used and accompanied by a Ceremuga certificate (2000). This stamp is rare, with only 800 issued (SG D1). Furthermore, there is a version with the surcharge double, where both impressions are equally strong and well-separated, very finely used (SG D1a). The combined catalog value for both stamps is SG £2950(Image 1) (Image 2)
