Also, 1910 Condominium set of seven value overprinted 'SPECIMEN' (Type D12) in black (red on 1 s.) fresh (Gi 10s-16s), later Specimen sets (Gi 18s-28s), Specimen set of the Weapons & Idols (Gi 36s-39s) and a second set with variety "Club Foot to M / Comma after M of SPECIMEN" (Gi 36s-39s+36s-39s var) which is an overprint error which occurred just once per Setting of 60 subjects. In addition, the two Specimens set for the Dual Currency and New Currency (SG 43s-63s) plus postage dues etc. The odd imperfection or fault although condition is generally fine. 828 cover image1845: Australian Assurance Office envelope with colourless circular embossed "General Post Office / Coast of Arms / Sydney New South Wales" handstamp at top, used locally to Pitt Street, Sydney struck with "? / FREE" datestamp in red (Feb 4) datestamp with octagonal framed "6 / O CLOCK" handstamp in black alongside. Printed internally with the return address of the Assurance Society in George Street, Sydney. Slight edge wear at top and weak folds but very rare. Cert. Holcombe (1996). 829 */bof image1850: Sydney View, 1 d. orange-red on soft thin yellowish paper, Plate 1, an unused block of twenty-three - the complete sheet less the two stamps at lower right, positions 24-25 - together with a lower right corner marginal example from position 25 being one of the two Proofs originally excised, leaving just position 24 to be found; the Plate Proof multiple showing full sheet margins nearly all round, positions 23 and 25 just shaved, position 18 with closed tear and several pressed creases but of no significance as the impression is of strong vibrant colour and is, without doubt, the largest multiple extant (the other large multiples of this Proof are of six and nine, sold together in the Corinphila 'Besançon' Sale I in November 2017, lot 6005) and thus this is a multiple of the foremost importance to both New South Wales and classic philately. A phenomenal Exhibition frontispiece for the connoisseur. Cert. BPA for position 25 (2006). Framed "6 / O CLOCK" marking alongside and reverse with "SYDNEY / ? / NEW SOUTH WALES" circular datestamp in black (Feb. 24). Cover #74 in the Palmer census. An exceptional and extremely fine usage, the finest of but two recorded thus - the other, ex Frajola, had the 'No Clouds' variety obliterated by the cancellation.
