4813 **/*/bof/(*) image1874/1951: Collection contained within a red Marini album comprising 22 pages and one loose sheet, mainly unused material in fresh and fine condition, although there are a few choice used examples. There are 18 complete sets including Specimen sets of which amongst others: 1908 Device of the Colony third issue set of ten (Gi 35s-47s+40as) overprinted 'SPECIMEN' in black fresh unused with large part og., 1903 from the same design the set of ten overprinted 'SPECIMEN' (Samuel Type D7 & D7a on the 5 s.) fresh and fine (Gi 14s-23s), also 1922/29 Definitive set of 21 unused overprinted 'SPECIMEN' in black or red or the hooded perforated version (Gi 63s-83s+71as). Two Imprimatur example for the 1880 2½ d. red-brown very attractive with four margins some imperfections but scarce, also three 1903 De La Rue Master Die Proofs for the Device of the Colony issue with frame only. Noted four examples of the scarce 1916 5 s. grey & yellow, Die II wmk. T2 unused (Gi 83) and also two examples of the £ 1 brown & ultramarine (Gi 94).
