2763 cover imageInflation Period 1945 (Oct 1 ) - 1949 (April 28): Collection in a red album with covers (81) with majority to Switzerland but also including mail to Austria, Denmark, Germany, Germany (Russian Zone), Great Britain, Korea and USA all with mostly multi-franked covers (largely with overprinted SYS adhesives) showing the rates of Postage + Airmail (and in many cases registration and AR fees), together with listings of the very short periods some rates were in use and rate break-downs on each individual cover. The frankings with an average of just over five stamps on each cover (416 stamps on 81 covers), the condition generally extremely fine to superb throughout, an object lesson in understanding this extraordinarily turbulent rate period just prior to the PRC being declared.
