4642 **/*/cover/bof/(*) image1858/1951: Collection on album pages, a mix of unused and used, some of the latter which are on piece and also covers (7) and cards (2). The initial part of the assembly is focused upon British Post Office cancels with the 'Ascension' cds predominately a mix of Edward VII and George V values, although a small selection on Victorian issues, noted scarcer such as 1910 7 d. grey-black pair on piece (Gi Z31), 1902 4 d. bright orange pair (Gi Z28). The collection includes a number of complete sets (10) some of which are Specimen sets including the 1938/47 Pictorial Definitives 13 values (Gi 38s-47s) all with the perforated 'SPECIMEN', also the 1937 Coronation set and Silver Jubilee set with perforated ''SPECIMEN' (Gi 35s-37s & 31s-34s).
