2966 cover image1900/02: Collection of attractive colour advertising cards, comprising nearly 200 examples housed within two albums. This collection boasts high visual appeal, primarily focusing on postal and philatelic topics, as well as postal stationery and some numismatic content. The cards feature various countries, with many displaying printed adverts on the reverse, predominantly from Parisian firms, across a variety of themes. Several cards showcase colour advertisements in shades of mauve, blue, turquoise, and brown; a few of these promote chocolate, while one specifically advertises chicory coffee and chocolate beans.
