s. red, a used block of nine, 10 s. blue in a used block of six (2 x 3) and the remarkable 15 kr. brown used block of twelve (6 x 2) all neatly cancelled by fine strikes of "LLOYD AGENZIE / KUSTENDJE" circular datestamps in black (Tchilinghirian fig.

Greece endorsed "via Cospoli" at lower left, struck on despatch with fine strike of oval framed "AGENZIA DEL LLOYD AUSTRIACO / Tulcia" in blue (Tchilinghirian fig. 836). Circular "Constantinople / Turquie" French P.O. of transit (June 17), reverse
with Piraeus, Athens and Patras datestamps (June 10j). Disinfected with two chisel slits and charged "90" lepta due in red crayon. The earliest recorded usage of this rare cancellation (Tchilinghirian "no material recorded from the 1845-1848 period")
