942 image1895 (Dec 21): 2½ d. blue single franking on letter from QUA IBOE  tied by two voilet strikes of the type A cds to Belfast. On the front a PAID/LIVERPOOL/BR. PACKET/6 FE 96 cds in red. On the reverse, a transit of OPOBO RIVER A (22 Dec) and a Belfast arrival cds (7 Feb 1896). The violet strike of QUA IBOE is very unusual, the letter fresh and very fine. (Image 1) (Image 2)
