1859 (9.Jul.): 5c. black on yellow paper, in mixed franking with 25c.reddish-brown issue
1857. The stamps are used on letter from "PARMA" to "TURIN". They are tied by a clear strike of the "PARMA" barred lozenge. A red arrival "TORINO" (11. Oct.) is applied to the reverse. Due to being stuck close to the edge, the franking shows minor
signs of wear, particularly the 5c. black. A very rare mixed franking of first and third issue. The letter was despatched the day on which Duchessa Maria Luisa II was deposed and the Provisional Government installed. A fabulous letter to display the

1858 (25.Jan). 5c black on yellow paper, vertical strip of three from corner margin of the
sheet together in stunning three colour mixed franking with 25c bown-lilac and 40 c dark blue on urgent letter from "PIACENZA" to "ROME". The stamps display their original unaltered state with marginal defects. and are tied by circular date stamp.

full to ample margins all round, tied to letter from "PARMA" to "ANNONAY" by "PARMA 12 OTTOBRE" three line cachet. The letter bears two unclear French transit marks, a RAYON mark "T.S.1." and an arrival ANNONAY (16. Oct.) on the reverse. There is
