Reverse with GENOVA transit (Sept 18) cds. Cover with very thin paper, tear on top skillfuly repaired, nevertheless an interesting and attractive franking paying the 120 centesimi rate, on obverse '9' cents handwritten credit from France to the United States with 3 cents inland postage and 6 cents for the journey by an American packet from a British port.
