Rückseitig mit Text: "Auf diesem, allerdings noch sehr ungewöhnlichem Wege, von Bord des Luftschiffes 'Schwaben' aus, senden Bürgermeisters aus Bützow Ihnen und Ihrer lieben Familie die herzlichsten Grüße durch diese Karte, die durch die Luft gereist ist."
Das Luftschiff Schwaben fuhr am 11.6.1912 von Baden-Baden nach Frankfurt a.M. als Anreise für die am 12.6.1912 beginnenden Rhein-Main-Fahrten. Diese Karte wurde augenscheinlich auf dieser Anreisefahrt befördert und die Luftpostmarke entsprechend noch mit Tagesstempel entwertet.
