This auction offers a wide
variety of remarkable items from all over the world, including unique
pieces, world rarities and post-historically important items of all kinds.
The magnificent "SUDETENLAND" collection by PETER ZGONC captivates with
outstanding unique pieces. Most of the offered brands have – besides the
numerous UNICATES – a very small edition. As an example, I would like to
present the special edition for Masaryk's 85th birthday with the imprint
"Wir sind frei!"from Reichenberg on envelope, mention the postage due to 10
”with imprint of Karlovy Vary in bluish violet instead of in dark pink and
the block edition for the stamp exhibition in Bratislava from 1937 with
inverted imprint of Karlovy Vary on one of the stamps as well as the
maximum values of the Czech landscape edition from 1936, of which only 5
copies are known with the imprint of Konstantinsbad.
In our "WORLWIDE RARITIES" catalogues Volume 1 – OVERSEAS and Volume 2 –
EUROPE, for example, you can look forward to the only known used pair of
the 15 C. "Escudito” from 1862 from Argentina, a block of four of the
"Sachsen-Dreiers” on piece or a vertical, unused pair of the Swiss
"Winterthur”. Also top-class and extraordinary collections such as the
"Jewels of Spanish Classics” (1850 - 1865) and the unique and highly
awarded Alemany collection of Spanish registered letters come up for
auction. Furthermore, several special collections, in particular the
collections "German Reich Eagles varietes Double Impressions” and the
exclusive collection "Rocket Mail” are expected to receive special
attention.
In the ITALY catalogue you will find a spectacular five-colour franking by
Modena, the colour misprint of ½ Tornese in black instead of green, a block
of 25 with lower sheet margin 30 Centesimi brown from 1863 or also the only
known copy of the legendary colour misprint "Augusto violetto” instead of
sepia.
The AUSTRIA catalogue has a first-class offer of Austria and Lombardy and
Veneto philately, whereby like to mention here two unusual pieces: of
Austria the third of the 9 Kr. 1. edition on letter of Torna (unique); of
Lombardy and Veneto the unique block of eight of the 30 C. of the first
edition. But study our catalogue – you will be amazed.
