 BRITISH EMPIRE 1840-1936 M collection in a fine pair of Imperial printed albums, well filled, particularly from the later QV period onwards. The condition is a little mixed in places (many earlier issues without gum, a little toning in
places on the later issues), but there is plenty of fine material, with better sets and many high vals throughout. The GB incl. a range of 97 1d red Plates (mostly unused), with 40 or so Surface Printed issues (unused) incl. 1855 6d (2), 1872 6d grey
and 1880 1s, 1862 6d (o.g), 1887 £1 green (creased), KEVII incl. 2/6d (2), 5s, 10s & £1, 1913 Waterlow to 10s plus £1 (fine), 1918 Bradbury set, PUC £1 and some Officials. Thereafter, useful Antigua (some earlier unused & toned), 1921 to £1 etc,
Ascension 1922 & 1924 to 3s (plus 6d with 'torn flag'), Australia with a range of Roos and Heads, 1932 Sydney Bridge 5s etc, Bahamas with early issues, 1884 to £1, 1902 & 1912 to £1 etc, Barbados with Britannias, Bechuanaland incl. 1888 to 5s plus
