597 image1865-1955 collection on printed leaves with a range of earlier issues mostly U (1878 Officials, 1879 to 2L (30c M), 1891 to 5L etc), then mostly M, incl. 1910 Plebiscite (with Diena Certs), 1922 Congress (Cat. £1200, not guaranteed), 1923 Manzoni (5l with Diena Cert, Cat. £900), 1930 Virgil, 1932 Dante etc. Also 1934 World Cup and Military Medal, 1933 Zeppelins and the 1933 Balbo Air strips. The later issues are mostly U and comprehensively covered, with 1949 Centenary, 1950 Radio etc, also Dues, Parcel Post and some other 'back of the book' issues. As is often the case with Italy, there are a number of highly catalogued U sets c.t.o (1923 Tercentenary, 1928 & 1930 Defence, 1951 Gymnastics etc). A good, substantial collection. (Image)
