298 image1930-90's Special Delivery covers collection neatly presented on leaves in two small boxes. Diligently assembled over many years, there are around 100 covers from the 1931-53 period, many bearing the Special Delivery issues and incl. 1930 (SG.S6) plus 3c printed cover Oakville to Hamilton, 1939 USA 3c Boston to Montreal with 10c (SG.S3) applied on arrival, 1937 (SG.S8) on cover House of Commons, Toronto to St. Thomas, on 3c stationery cover to Indiana and with 6c on cover to Brooklyn. Also 1942 O.H.M.S (SG.S12) plus 6c & 13c, with numerous bearing (SG.S12) & (SG.S14) Air with a variety of additional frankings. Many also show various types of the Special Delivery h/stamp incl. 1934 with 2c & 3c (7) Kitchener to Toronto, 1933 printed cover Montreal to Scranton, USA with additional LIVRAISON SPECIALE h/stamp and covers bearing the various Special Delivery Express labels. Thereafter, 90 or so 1957-98 covers with an impressive range of frankings, cachets & markings. A lovely collection. (Image)
