Boston 2026 is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious events in the world of philately—a true international celebration held only once every ten years. Faithful to this unmissable gathering, Behr will once again be in attendance, continuing a
tradition to which we remain deeply committed.
For this occasion, we have assembled an exceptional selection of rarities from around the world. Among them is a remarkable pair of Mauritius “Post Paid” stamps, whose print quality, state of preservation, and generous margins make it a truly
outstanding item.
The Commonwealth is also strongly represented, with a particularly rich section including a spectacular block of four featuring the Fiji error, a superb Ceylon 4 pence, and a high-quality group dedicated to India, notably including Scinde Dawk and
early issue blocks. Great Britain is equally well represented, with, among other highlights, a Penny Black block of four as well as an example bearing the VR letters.
Given the importance of Boston, it was essential for us to highlight the United States. You will discover a block of four of the famous 1901 4-cent brown with inverted center, alongside three used examples of the legendary Hawaiian
“Missionaries”, stamps of the utmost rarity on the market, which we will revisit in greater detail in a forthcoming newsletter.
Collectors of France will not be disappointed. We have selected numerous important pieces, including the Vermilion, the 20 centimes blue Sage type (unissued), rare covers such as balloon mail to exotic destinations, modern varieties in francs and
euros, as well as prestigious proofs, notably those of the Orphelins issue.
We would also like to draw your attention to an exceptional Monaco collection, featuring a pair of the 5 francs Charles III, a block of four of the famous Marriage issue, along with a remarkable ensemble of stamps, sets, and complete sheets.
We wish you an enjoyable exploration of this new catalogue and hope it will, once again, inspire and enrich your philatelic passion.
