chestnut brown (almost chocolate brown) in left margin position block of twelve (positions 11-16, 21-26) from Plate B and strongly showing the 5¢ on 6¢ MAJOR RE-ENTRY at position 25, full original gum, the right two stamps with hinge
remnant and others are never hinged although more or less affected by slight gum disturbance (except for the variety which has pristine gum), a fine and very rare variety multiple, one of the largest extant containing this MAJOR RE-ENTRY,
which Boggs termed 'the most remarkable variety in Canada', a phrase with which we agree and cannot improve upon. Ex - Simpson, 'Lindemann', Brigham.

yellow brown tied by Winnipeg 3 MY '86 duplex to double weight domestic cover to Sheppard's Ferry, Man., via Brandon 4 MY with oval violet DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR 2 MAY WINNIPEG datestamp at lower left, the post office at Sheppard's Ferry had
been closed the year before so the letter was delivered to Heaslip, the closest open Post Office and was received 7 MY. The letter was then marked 'Opened by mistake' and signed by an Edward Gabriel (same name as addressee), resealed and marked 'try
Souris' where it was sent via Brandon 27 MY and received 28 MY, still unclaimed and sent to the DEAD LETTER OFFICE and received 12 MY where it was opened once again and resealed with an OFFICIALLY SEALED LABEL and returned to sender 18 MY, quite a

with Mabou 18 JY receiver, the ONLY KNOWN REGISTERED 6¢ BISECT COVER and a true Small Queen treasure and although the bisecting of higher denomination stamps was a 'hold-over' from Colonial times, it was practiced, tolerated and accepted by
