Dear Collectors and Investors,

We are delighted to present our one-day Public Auction 84, featuring more than 2,700 attractive and often unique lots from both Czech and international provenance.

The foreign section offers a broad and compelling selection, ranging from colonial rarities to strong sections of Great Britain, Old Austria and Italy, including the iconic Tuscan “Three Lire”.

Interwar Czechoslovakia will be represented by an exceptional selection of rare airmail stamps and covers, offered in two (!) prestigious auction catalogues. The collections of Bedřich Helm and Jiří Stehlík rank among the most important holdings in the field of Czechoslovak aerophilately and bring to the market a remarkable number of exceptionally rare and desirable airmail stamps and covers.

Among the highlights of the auction are unique imperforate blocks of four from the post-war Czechoslovak issues - the 1st Anniversary of the Slovak National Uprising (SNP) and the 1945 Official issue. Collectors of Slovakia 1939–1945 will also be drawn to an outstanding selection of imperforate blocks of four from various issues. These scarce multiples represent highly desirable additions to advanced collections and exhibits, particularly with the SLOVPHILEX 2027 World Exhibition approaching.

As always, the auction will conclude with a varied selection of sought-after banknotes and manuscripts.
