121 imageU.S. MINT AND USED COLLECTION, includes several hundred different mint and used singles, mounted in a Scott National album, the collection runs to about 1976 and is quite complete after 1925, there are some early used items and some faults to be expected, the 1869 Issue is complete to the 15c, values overall to about $100 with some higher, pretty nice B.O.B. with good Airmails including C13 NH and also some Officials, maybe a couple hundred dollars in face value included, a very nice starter collection is a decent condition album, there should be several thousand dollars in catalog value here.

124 imageU.S. "BETTER THAN FACE" ACCUMULATION #1, includes thousands of mint singles, pairs, blocks, plate blocks, booklet panes and S/S's, contained in glassines, in 102 or 104 cards, on stock pages and some loose, packed into a large flat white box, virtually all are mint with many being NH, good variety but expect duplication throughout with quantities in the 1-10 range with many higher, expect some faults here and there but for the most part a pretty clean group, values range from a few dollars up to $50 or more, virtually all the material here is "better than face" which means generally the material is in the 1900-1940 period with the majority in the 1925-1935 period, we noticed a number of better centered stamps here and we expect there will be some "grading" opportunities for the buyer, there are two other lots very similar to this one listed elsewhere in this section of the sale, we decided to break down the large lot into three lots to give more buyers an opportunity to join the "hunt", we suspect there are many thousands of dollars in catalog value in each of these lots and certainly a huge amount of total retail.
