SWITZERLAND SPECIALIZED COLLECTION 1862-1907, includes several hundred mixed mint and used, hinged and mounted on quadrilled album pages, this HIGHLY specialized collection runs from the 1862 regular issue to the 1907 issue, there is an extensive number of varieties here which include mostly plate varieties some of which are listed, obviously there is duplication but the number of different varieties is extensive, most of the mint is mounted and some are NH, the overall quality is mixed and there are some faults but there are also many Very Fine or better stamps present, there are also some better cancels included, it appears that the catalog value is from 1995 Switzerland Specialized catalog where many of the varieties are listed, that total comes to about SF25,000 which converted to dollars is the $31,000 listed here, this amazing collection is certainly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity since many of this stamps are very elusive especially outside of Switzerland, we have included several scans but there are many pages and stamps which are in the collection but not included in the scans, well worth careful consideration by a specialist in this area.

SWITZERLAND MINT AND USED COLLECTION IN SCOTT SPECIALTY ALBUM, includes a few hundred mint and used singles, sets and S/S's, hinged and mounted in a Scott album, the collection runs to about 1962 and includes a nice B.O.B. section with good Semi-Postals, there are also several items on 102 and retail cards which have been inserted into the album in various places, the overall condition is really very clean with most stamps being VF and much of the mint is NH but there will be some scattered faults in some of the early issues, values up to about $200 with some higher, some of the better items include: 8(4), 10, 12(3), 13,15, 19-22, 23(2), 26, 34-35, 42, 58, 78, 83*, 89, 111(2), B3, 7(PR), C1-2(NH), there are also a few dozen mint S/S's which have been inserted into this album, a really nice starter collection which includes many different and certainly plenty of value or there is a good number of items which are "pullable" for retail or internet sales, take a good look at this one.

SPECIALIZED SWITZERLAND UPU ISSUE COLLECTION, includes several hundred mixed mint and used but mostly used, on album pages and stock pages in a springback binder, this collection is exclusively the five stamps from the 1900 UPU issue, the key to this collection is the extensive number of platings and varieties for this issue, also there are a significant number of stamps with better cancels, and in addition there are 17 covers included in the back of the album, the overall condition is mixed as one would expect but generally a pretty clean group, a really wonderful collection for the specialized collector in this area, easily the most specialized lot for this issue that we have ever seen, certainly a rare opportunity with so many stamps to study and a significant number have annotations already, the catalog value listed is our approximate figure any only takes into account the basic Scott value for each listing, there is also a number of pages of literature included with this lot.
