Michael Aldrich Auctions Sale - 0119

U.S. and Worldwide: Stamps and Covers - November 5-7, 2026

Our 119th Michael E. Aldrich Sale consists of 1117 lots of U.S. and Worldwide stamps and covers. There are lot values ranging from $100 to $15,000 each.

Traditionally the Michael E. Aldrich sales have been auctions which include mail, phone, fax, walk-up and internet bidding off our own website and Stamp Auction Network. In addition, these sales are held on StampAuctionNetwork.

This sale is particularly strong in High Quality U.S. stamps. There are over 350 lots with one or more certificates including many graded certificates.

The B.O.B. section has a strong Newspaper section along with many other B.O.B. items. The sale also has a very strong U.S. Revenue section which includes many First Issue items and also a very strong Match & Medicine section. This sale features the third part of the Michael Morrissey Collection of First Issue Printed Cancels which consists of over 110 lots. The Morrissey collection is the most comprehensive collection of Printed Cancels every put together.

There is also an extensive offering of First Issue Pacific Mail Steamship cancels of which they are all different. This is the largest individual offering of these cancels that we have ever offered at auction.

Any bidder who is interested in participating in the live internet auction process will need to go to www.stampauctionnetwork.com and click on the Michael E. Aldrich Auction listing in the index and register as a prospective internet bidder prior to the closing date of the sale. You will be given a specific bidder number for that sale. To bid in the sale, a registered bidder will need to login on the website.

We are excited about the live internet bidding component to our sales. It is our hope that many of our customers will utilize the live aspect of the auction for lots that they are interested in.

As always, viewing will be available for the entire auction for the two weeks prior to the closing date of the sale at our offices in Cave Creek, AZ.

All lots in our Michael E. Aldrich auctions are scanned and available to bid live on StampAuctionNetwork.

Those interested in viewing the sale in person should call the office for an appointment. Viewing activity tends to get busier closer to the closing date of the sale. We strongly suggest that if you wish to view lots for this sale, do so early if possible, to avoid the rush and crowds.

As always, we will provide opening bids for this auction on our www.aldrichstamps.com about five days prior to the closing date of the sale. We update these opening bids daily and then a couple of times the last two days prior to the live sale. Openers will also be posted on SAN five days prior to the closing date.

We sincerely thank all of those bidders that have supported our sales all these years and we hope to make many new friends with this sale and future sales. Anyone having any questions should feel free to call the office during business hours: 480-488-1616.
