2785 image1949 (14 Jan) Clubbed Mail Wrapper from Johore, Malaya, to Swatow. Endorsed in Chinese “40 letters within, postage $30”, and “First of 3 packets, Batch 52-3”. F.w. rare & exceptional combination franking of Straits Settlements ‘BMA/ MALAYA’ Overprints KGVI Scroll Design Keyplates inscribed ‘REVENUE/REVENUE’ $25 carmine & brown and Johore Royal Silver Wedding $5 green (small faults where affixed over edge) tied by ‘JOHORE BAHRU/14JAN49’ cds cancel, minor folds affecting the $5 only. This rare item proves genuine postal usage of the $25 revenue stamp. Ex Dr William Wells.

1949.1.14. 马来亚柔佛侨批总包寄往汕头。注明：“内信40封 士丹30元“、”52第三帮批计三包其一“，贴英皇银婚5元及 战后海峡殖民地加盖马来亚军政府25元税票，并非邮票供应不上，而是根本由于没有高额邮票，只得使用税票，是邮用税票 的极少数实寄封例子之一，素为英属收藏者珍重！发自中国的回批总包已经甚为稀少，国外寄入的总包更如凤毛麟角！韦尔 斯旧藏。 便條。稀罕難得之僑批總包例子，更為郵資尾日封。(Image 1) (Image 2)

2829 image1925 Shanhu (25 Sep) to Phnom Penh. Red band cover, f.w. Junk x5 on reverse, in total of 10c, tied by Kwangtung Sanhu cds. Transit Kiyang, Swatow. Arrived Phnom Penh (4 Oct). Cover opened out for dis- play. Rather early Qiaopi to Cambodia, probably jointly delivered by two Qiaopiju. As the Chinese community in Cambodia was much smaller than Vietnam, examples are particularly scarce. Ex- Choon Koshpasharin. 2025 (Jul) AVA Auctions, lot 3149.

1925.9.25 山湖寄金塔。紅條封，背貼帆船x5，合1角，銷廣東山湖腰框日戳。經揭陽及汕頭。10.4抵金塔。封剖開以作展示。甚早之寄柬埔寨僑批，按封面批注，應是由兩家商號合作送遞。柬埔寨華人人口遠少於越南，故十分難得。許茂春著《東南亞華人與僑批》第130頁2-65原件。2025.7 艾華拍賣，拍品號3149。(Image 1)

2830 image1927-1929 a pair of Huipi (receipt of remittance) from Puning to Soetrang, Indochina. One f.w. Junk 10c while another one frankless, both applied with “Swatow Kwangyi Dispatch / Annam Kiyuan remittance” vertical seal. Similar with incoming Qiaopi, outgoing Qiaopi were also sent in bulk. Howerver, as French Indochina did not allow sending Qiaopi in bulk in 1927, China Post followed suit accordingly. Ex- Choon Koshpasharin. 2025 (Jul) AVA Auctions, lot 3133.

1927至1929年一對廣東普寧寄印支蓬潭之回批，一件貼帆船1角，一件未貼票，鈐“汕頭光益分發 / 安南吉源批銀”直戳。回批與進口僑批一樣，通常以總包進口，但法屬印支郵政於1927年取消僑批總包，故中華郵政作出相應調整，回批總包亦改為逐件貼票才以總包寄出。許茂春著《東南亞華人與僑批》第118頁2-41及119頁2-42原件。2025.7 艾華拍賣，拍品號3133。(Image 1)

Most of the Minnan people resided in other Southeast Asian countries instead of Siam. Examples are therefore more unusual. Cover opened out for display.
