On front with vertical registered mark, two R marks and Peking bisected bilingual cds. Arrived Paoting (24 Jan). Lovely double registered cover posted at branch office. Dated during reduced rate period even elevates the piece.

1904.1.23 北京寄保定。紅條封，正貼蟠龍1角雙連，背貼1分，合減資時期外埠雙掛號郵資1角1分，銷“北京 / 正陽門外 / 郵政分局”碑形戳。正見掛號直戳、兩處R章及北京半切漢英日戳。1.24抵保定。由分局寄出之出色雙掛號例子，出自減資時期更是錦上添花。(Image 1) (Image 2)

159 cover image1905 Foochow (29 Aug) to Tsingtau. Red band cover, f.w. Coiling Dragon 1c in 2 pairs + 10c on both sides, tied by scarce "Customs" removed Foochow cds., along with also rare full English "FOOCHOW CITY (CHINA)" registered mark. Arrived Kiaochow (23 Sep). Stephen Yen belived that this cds was used in Foochow Inner City branch. Also, he only recorded this Foochow City registered mark in 1902 and 1903.

1905.8.29 福州寄青島。紅條封，正背貼蟠龍1分雙連x2 + 1角，銷少見之福州挖海關日戳。正鈐“FOOCHOW CITY”全英文掛號橫戳。9.23抵膠州。嚴平西認為福州挖海關日戳於福州城內分局使用。而FOOCHOW CITY英文掛號戳在嚴平西記錄中亦僅見於1902及1903年。(Image 1) (Image 2)

Transit Kienyang (1 Mar). Arrived Tsungan (2 Mar). Stephen Yen only recorded this type of registered mark in 1904 and 1912.

1910.2.24 福州寄崇安。紅條封，背貼蟠龍2分 + 5分，銷福州城腰框英漢日戳，旁鈐少見難得之“福建省城”掛號直戳。3.1經建陽，3.2抵崇安。此掛號戳稀罕少見，即使嚴平西記錄亦僅見於1904及1912年。(Image 1) (Image 2)

167 cover image1900s Red band cover from Shaho to Tsingchow, f.w. Coiling Dragon 2c on reverse, tied by scarce Shaho PO tombstone cancel. Transit Weihsien PO and arrived Tsingchow PO with both tombstone cancel. Gathering three tombstone cancels of different shades and format on one cover. Spectacular.

1900年代紅條封自沙河寄青州，背貼蟠龍2分，銷沙河郵政局碑形戳。另見濰縣及青州郵政局中轉及到戳碑形戳。三戳刷色及格式各異﹕沙河為黑色“郵政局/ 沙河”、濰縣為紫色“濰縣/ 郵政官局”、青州為藍色“青州/郵政局”，共見一封上十分震撼難得。(Image 1) (Image 2)

Stephen Yen did not record this type of Ningpo branhc PO registered mark. Chengkeng and Changki postal agency mark are also unusual.

1911.2.14 寧波寄徽州。紅條封，背貼蟠龍1分 + 7分，銷寧波腰框英漢日戳。旁見寧波郵政分局中文掛號橫戳。2.26經上海，2.28經大通，隨後經徽州，鄭坑郵政代理。抵昌溪郵政代理。嚴平西未有記錄此寧波掛號橫戳。鄭坑和昌溪郵政代理圓戳亦甚少見。附原信。(Image 1) (Image 2) (Image 3)

Arrived London (Jul). Russian FPO in Manchuria were open for civilian mails at that time.

1903.6.25 天津寄英國。印度新金山中國渣打銀行挂號封，貼蟠龍1角雙連，銷天津半切漢英日戳，背面另鈐挂號章。經牛莊。加貼俄國軍徽圖加蓋“KITAI”10戈比雙連，銷俄國第13號軍郵局日戳，背面另貼營口俄文挂號標籤。7月抵倫敦。當時滿州之俄國軍郵局同樣處理民間信件。(Image 1) (Image 2)
