2055 cover image1872 (1 April) an unusual Hiogo mail to Bordeaux, France, franked with French Ceres 3 x 5 ctms, cancelled by “YOKOHAMA BAU FRANCAISE FR. / 8 AVIRL 72”, boxed frame “AFFRANCHISEMENT / INSUFFICIANT” in black, manuscript rate marke “1f – 3s” (i.e. 1f 30 ctms), a red double ringed transit c.d.s “PAQ. ANG. V BRINDISI / A MOD(ANE)”. On the reverse side, a slew of French transit c.d.s. This mail went through a highly unusual routing combination of PMSSCo and P&O vessels. The mail started with Hiogo where it rides on New York /PMSSCo steamer to Yokohama, and then picked up by P&O packet services from Yokohama all the way to Brindisi. The use of 15 ctms was only paid enough for the internal rate charge between Hiogo to Yokohama, and the postage due “1f3S” represents the 10 grams postage charge by the GB packet service from Yokohama to France effective 1871. Certification: Philatelic Federation of Japan Certificate.

1872.4.1 兵庫寄法國，貼五穀女神像5生丁x3，銷橫濱法局日戳及欠資指示戳。此信先經PMSSCo船隻至橫濱，再由鐵行輪船公司自橫濱送至布林迪西。而15生丁僅足以兵庫至橫濱間郵資，故被罰欠資“1f/3S”。附日本證書。(Image 1) (Image 2) (Image 3) (Image 4)

2164 cover image1892 (25 Aug) French miloitary cover from Poulo Condore, f.w. French Colonies 5c + 10c, tied by scarce "CORR D'ARMEES / POULO-CONDORE" Desrousseaux type F cds. On reverse with "COMMANDANT LE POSTE / POULO CONDORE" circular seal in blue. Transit Saigon military PO (27 Aug). Desrousseaux stated that type F cds was only seen in Bentre, Poulo Condore and Soctrang, therefore examples are particularly sccarce. Known as Con Dao today, Poulo Condore is the largest island of the Côn Đảo archipelago, off the coast of southern Vietnam.

1892.8.25 法軍軍郵封自崑崙島寄出，貼法國殖民地5生丁 + 10生丁，銷難得之崑崙島法軍郵局Desrousseaux F型日戳。背鈐“COMMANDANT / LE POSTE / POULO CONDORE”藍色圓戳。8.27經西貢軍郵局。Desrousseaux指F型日戳僅見於檳椥、崑崙島及朔莊三地，故份外稀罕。崑山島是越南南部崑崙群島中面積最大的島嶼。(Image 1) (Image 2)

2165 piece image1893 (23 Aug) Cops Expeditionnaire de Tonkin cover front, applied with scarce "CORPS EXPRE / TONKIN" Desrousseaux type FM53 circular seal, That-Khe cds and "Poste de Ta-Lung / Le Commandant D'Armees" circular seal. Despite the condition, the locally made type FM53 postmark is not commonly seen.

2167 cover image1903 (18 Oct) Cover of Corps d'Occupation d'Indochina from Xieng Khong to France, frankless, applied with Xieng Khong Desrousseaux type E2 cds. Transit Paksane (25 Oct), Saigon. Rare usage from Xien-Kong, which was at the time in Siamese territory (1896-1904). Also, Desousseaux only recorded the usage of type D1, instead of E2 cds from Xieng Khong, hence scarce.

1903.10.18 印支佔領軍軍郵封，由Xieng Khong寄法國，無貼票，鈐Xieng Khong Desrousseaux E2型日戳。10.25經Paksane，隨後經西貢。Xieng Khong當時屬暹羅領土，郵例難得。另外Desrousseaux記錄中僅見Xieng Khong D1型日戳，未見E2型，故珍罕。(Image 1) (Image 2)

2169 cover image1864 (5 May) Cover by Admiral de la Grandiere to Bien Hoa by "Tram", applied with "COMMANDANT / EN CHEF / EN COCHINCHINE" oval seal. Along with "Par le Tram" annotation. Arrived Bien Hoa with bilingual cachet, With original leetter. On 1 Jan 1864, the coexistence of post office and the "Tram" were decided. "Tram" referes to a traditional postal service that mail were marked with "Par le Tram" and sent in sealed bags to localities without post office. A great rarity. Illustration fig 5, p. 13 in "Les Postes et Courriers Francaise en Extreme-Orient Livre 1 - Bureaux Francais d'Extreme-Orient de 1860 a 1895" by Desrousseaux.

1864.5.5 由交趾支那總督Admiral de la Grandièrev經“Tram”寄邊和，鈐“COMMANDANT / EN CHEF / EN COCHINCHINE”橢圓戳記。旁見“Par le Tram”批注及邊和到達戳。附原信。1864年1月1日，政府決定郵局與“Tram”並行。“Tram”為當地傳統遞信服務，信件需寫上“Par Le Tram”字樣，並封於郵袋中，多見於未設郵局的城鎮。此為極具歷史意義之珍品。Desrousseaux著《Les Postes et Courriers Francaise en Extreme-Orient Livre 1 - Bureaux Francais d'Extreme-Orient de 1860 a 1895》第13頁圖5原件。(Image 1) (Image 2)

Ceres imperf 5c in strip of 4 + 40c x2, tied by "CCH" dimaond obliterator and very scarce Haiphong handfilled Desrousseaux type C cds, along with R mark. Arrived Paris (16 Mar). This provisional d.s. was used for only a few months before the arrivacl of d.s. ordered from France. Desrousseaux did not record any example of Haiphong.

1876.2.3 海防寄法國。掛號封，貼五穀女神無齒5生丁橫四連 + 40生丁x2，銷“CCH”藍色菱形殺手戳及極罕之海防Desrousseaux C型手填日戳，另見R章。3.16抵巴黎。這款臨時日戳用於從法國訂購的郵戳抵達之前，故僅使用數月。Desrousseaux未見出自海防的存世例子。(Image 1) (Image 2)

2171 cover image1876 Hanoi (5 Apr) to France, f.w. Ceres imperf 25c in pair, tied by "CCH" diamond obliterator in blue, along with extremel scarce Hanoi handfilled Desrousseaux type C cds. Transit Saigon (5 Apr), Suez (11 May). This provisional d.s. was used for only a few months before the arrivacl of d.s. ordered from France and it is the only recorded eample of Hanoi by Desrousseaux. The same postmark Illustrated on p. 19 "Les Postes et Courriers Francaise en Extreme-Orient Livre 1 Bureaux Francais d'Extreme-Orient de 1860 a 1895" by Desrousseaux.

1876.4.5 海防寄法國。掛號封，貼五穀女神無齒25生丁雙連，銷“CCH”藍色菱形殺手戳及極罕之河內Desrousseaux C型手填日戳。4.5經西貢，5.11經蘇伊士。這款臨時日戳用於從法國訂購的郵戳抵達之前，故僅使用數月。此為Desrousseaux記錄之唯一一例，乃鳳毛麟角般的珍品。Desrousseaux著《Les Postes et Courriers Francaise en Extreme-Orient Livre 1 Bureaux Francais d'Extreme-Orient de 1860 a 1895》第19頁之郵戳拓印原件。(Image 1) (Image 2)

Desrousseaux recorded only 6 covers and 1 piece with the "COMMANDANT SUPERIEUR DES TROUPES / TONG-KING" seal.

1876.4.15 河內寄法國，貼五穀女神無齒5生丁橫五連（當時25生丁票短缺），銷CCH藍色菱形殺手戳，旁鈐少見之“CORR D ARMES”（下方挖字）Desrousseaux D(0)型八角形日戳。背鈐同同樣難得之“COMMANDANT SUPERIEUR DES TROUPES / TONG-KING”圓戳。4.20經西貢。4.25經郵船N線6號。“COMMANDANT SUPERIEUR DES TROUPES / TONG-KING”圓戳在Desrousseaux記錄中僅見六件信封及一件剪片。(Image 1) (Image 2)

Ceres imperf 25c in pair, tied by CCH diamond obliterator in blue, along with scarce "SAI ON" scatched out with remaining letter "G" Desrousseaux type Ac cds. On reverse with "Cochinchine / Saigon" cds. Arrived Pariis (2 Jun). Desrousseaux recorded only one cover and one piece with the type Ac cds. Also it is a late example of CCH diamond obliterator which was replaced by circuiar d.s at the end of May 1876.

1876.4.20 西貢寄法國，貼五穀女神無齒25生丁雙連，銷CCH藍色菱形殺手戳，旁鈐G字（SAI ON被挖去僅剩G字）Desrousseaux Ac型日戳，背鈐“Cochinchine / Saigon”日戳。6.2抵巴黎。Desoursseaux記錄Ac型挖字日戳僅見一件信封及一件剪片例子。另外，此同為CCH殺手戳之較晚例子，隨後於1876年5月底便被圓形日戳取代。(Image 1) (Image 2)
