In combination with Coat of Arms 7k, tied by Shanghai Russian PO (4 Sep) with T&S type 1 cds in violet. Transit Shanghai BPO (18 Sep), Hong Kong (21 Sep). Arrived Bern (22 Oct). Despite philatelic given the addressee, single franking of Red Revenue 4c and combination with Russian stamps is very appealing. Combination with Russian stamps is the rarest combination for Red Revnue covers as there is only one example recorded in "The Revenue Surcharges China 1897" by Directorate General of Posts, ROC. 2024 (May-Jun) Interphila Auction, lot 806. With swissasia-philately certificate.

1897.9.17 上海寄瑞士F. Salzmann，貼紅印花加蓋大字4分蓋3分（陳目89），銷上海大圓戳。加貼軍徽圖7戈比，銷上海俄局T&S 1型紫色日戳。9.18經上海英局，9.21經香港。10.22抵伯恩。從收件人可知為集郵封，但單貼大肆分並混貼俄國票實在稀罕難得。混貼俄國票為紅印花封片中最為稀罕少見之混貼形式，即使在交通部郵政總局《紅印花郵票》中亦僅見一例，可遇不可求。2024.5-6 Interphila Auction，拍品號806。附swissasia-philately證書。(Image 1) (Image 2)

317 cover image1912 Wuchang (7 Apr) to Peking. Red band cover, f.w. Coiling Dragon 3c on reverse, tied by Wuchang bilingual cds dated "Minguo 1st year". Transit Hankow (7 Apr). Arrived Peking (11 Apr). Stephen Yen stated that Chinese characters "Min Guo" were inserted into cds used in Hupeh perhaps to emphasize that this "1st Year" is different from Hsuan Tung 1st Year of 1909 or to demonstrate their pro-Republican stance.

1912.4.7 武昌寄北京。紅條封，背貼蟠龍3分，銷武昌府“民國元年”腰框英漢日戳。同日經漢口。4.11抵北京。嚴平西指湖北郵局使用帶有“民國′二字的日戳，目的可能有二，一為與1909年宣統元年有所區別，二是強調擁護共和的立場。(Image 1) (Image 2)

327 cover image1919 Siyusze (8 Jan) to Shanghai. ROC 3c stationery cover (Han 6), tied by Siyusze bilingual cds. On reverse with Siyusze POW camp oval seal. Transit Peking. Arrived Shanghai (11 Jan). From October 1918 to 1919, about one hundred German people were held in Siyu Temple in Peking. Mails form the POW camp are scarce.

1919.1.8 西峪寺寄上海。民國3分郵製信箋（韓目6），銷西峪寺腰框英漢日戳，背鈐“西峪寺敵國人民管理處”橢圓形戳記。經北京。1.11抵上海。在1918年10月至1919年間，約一百名德國人被拘留於北京西峪寺，郵例較為少見難得。(Image 1) (Image 2)
