registered rate, tied by Canton bisected bilingual cds. and circled RR mark. Arrived Tientsin (23 May). In 1899, Imperial Post set up branch post offices which used non-standard postmark. Lovely.

F.w. Coiling Dragon 2c + 5c for double weight registered rate during reduced rate period, tied by Canton bisected bilingual cds. Transit Shanghai (9 Apr). Arrived Tientsin (14 Apr). Extraordinary registered example during reduced rate period, not to
mention the last year usage of the non-standard Canton cds.
1903.4.4 廣州寄天津。紅條封，背鈐清晰之“廣州老城內郵政局”紅色手填日戳及廣州“弍”碑形戳，正見掛號直戳。貼蟠龍2分 + 5分，合減資時期雙倍重量外埠掛號郵資，銷廣州半切漢英日戳。4.9經上海。4.14抵天津。此為廣州郵局不規範日戳之最後一年使用，減資時期掛號郵資更是錦上添花。(Image 1)
