 1901 Paotingfu (22 Jun) to Germany. Registered cover, f.w. numeral and Eagle ovpt. China diagonally x4, in total of 41pf, tied by Paotingfu oval d.s., along with registered label. Arrived Wiesbaden (4 Aug). Most of the German
military mails from Paoting cancelled adhesive with KD FPO No. 7 cds with this oval mark (without date) alongside. This example, however, cancelling adhesive with this oval postmark is very rare. With Steuer certificate.

 1867 SMS Vineta, Shanghai (8 Jan) to Prussia, sent "via Trieste", applied with Shanghae BPO Webb type A cds in blue. Transit Hong Kong (12 Jan). Arrived Berlin (27 Feb). Postage due of "5" was marked by crayon. By that time
North German Confederation was not yet formed. Vineta was on a cruise to the Far East and South Sea from Dec 1865 to Sep 1868. A rarity of German maritime history. Also, as adhesive was already supplied in Shanghai BPO around 1863, applying Webb type
A cds on frankless cover should be rather rare by that time as well.
1867.1.8 由普魯士戰艦Vineta號自上海寄普魯士，寫有“via Trieste”批示，鈐上海英局Webb
A型藍色日戳。1.12經香港。2.27抵柏林。寫有“5”欠資批注。當時北德邦聯尚未成立，而Vineta號於1865年12月至1868年9月間到遠東進行巡航，為難得之德國海郵史珍品。另外，由於上海英局早於1863年提供郵票，故鈐Webb A型日戳於無貼票郵件上在當時應頗為少見。(Image 1)

 1904 SMS Geier, Chemlupo (23 Apr) to Germany. Korean 2nd issue 4ch PSC, in combination franking of Germania 5pf, Korean Eagle stamp 1c + 2ri + surch 1ch on Tae-Geuk 25 poon, tied by German Marine Schiffspost No. 36 cds and
Chemulpo PO cds in French respectively. Arrived Kiel (5 Jun). During Russo-Japanese War, SMS Geier remained in the region and observed the war development, notably poking around at Chemulpo. Very scarce German military item from Korea. Franking of
theh surch 1ch issue is also very appealing.
1904.4.23 德軍戰艦Geier號自濟物浦寄德國。朝鮮第二版4錢郵資片，混貼日耳曼尼亞像5芬尼及朝鮮鷹郵票2厘 + 1錢 + 太極圖改值一錢蓋2錢5分，分別銷德海軍36局及濟物浦朝鮮郵局法文日戳。在日俄戰爭期間，Geier號於當地觀察戰爭發展，多停留於濟物浦。出自朝鮮之德軍軍郵十分少見難得，貼用太極圖改值票更是錦上添花。(Image 1)

 1901 From steamship Crefeld to Germany, f.w. Germania ovpt. China 5pf in pair, tied by extremely scarce "KAIS. DEUTSCHE SCHIFFSPOST DAMPFER CREFELD" circular postmark. Arrived Wesel (24 Oct). The steamship Crefeld was chartered
from the Norddeutscher Lloyd Company to transport troops to Taku. It was given the Marine-shiffspost cancel No. 72. After the successful operation during Boxer Rebellion, Crefeld was again used to transport troops back to Germany but this time no
Marine-Schiffspost cancel was used, instead a private "CREFELD DAMPFER" cancel. It was used only from Aug to late Oct 1901, hence, a great rarity.
