dateless postmark was used by the treasiry office as administrative mark.

 ca 1920s from Frencch river gunboat "Balny" to France, applied with "CANONNIERE FLUVIALE BALNY" cachet and French Marine anchor seal on front while "Forces navales en Extreme-Orient / Flottille du Yang-Tsi-Kiang / Canonniere
Fluviale Balny" cachet on reverse. "Balny" served in China since 1921 and it was decommissioned in 1940. In 1944, it was handed over to the nationalist government.

 1935 (3 May) French crusier Primauguet to France, applied with cruiser Primauguet d.s. F.w. SYS 25c, tied by Shanghai Chinese PO cds (4 Apr). Showing "Via Transsiberien" annotation. Despite the French miliary mails should enjoy
free postage, the sender prefered the quicker Siberian route via Chinese PO. Very interesting and rare example.
1935.5.3 由法軍巡洋艦Primauguet號寄法國，鈐Primauguet號六角形日戳。另貼孫像2角5分，銷上海中國郵局4.4日戳。寫有經西伯利亞批注。雖然法軍郵件可獲免資，但寄件人欲經西伯利亞郵路，故貼中國票經中華郵政寄出。十分稀罕難得。(Image 1)
