 1913 Chabdo (18 Jul) to Postmaster of Chengtu Post Office, f.w. Coiling Dragon Tibet surch 1/2a + 1a in pair + 2-1/2a, tied by scarce Chabdo Dollar cds (dated lunar year). Arrived Chengtu. Chabdo was the last imperial post
office ceased operation in Tibet. Tibet surch Coiing Dragon issues and dollar cds were used continually which made Chabdo one of the lastest post office using imperial stamps and cancellation. Ex- E M Tolman.
1913.7.18 察木多寄成都郵政局郵務長，貼西藏蟠龍1分
+ 2分雙連 + 5分，銷少見之察木多大圓戳，年份為“癸丑”。抵成都。察木多是西藏郵界最後結束的郵局，並沿用西藏蟠龍及清朝日戳，是全國最後使用大清郵票及郵戳之郵局之一。E M Tolman舊藏。(Image 1)

 ca 1866 a group of 3 covers from India to British military officers in Dewangiri, all f.w. Indian QV single, tied by obliterator or pen strokes. In 1864, the British attacked Bhutan from Bengal and Assam. In 1865, the British
dictated the treaty terms by which Bhutan had to cede all 18 mountain passes bordering India and put Kalimpong under British rule.
約1866年一組三件印度寄駐德旺吉利之英軍軍官信封，貼印度維多利亞女皇像單枚，銷殺手戳或以筆劃銷。1836年，英印從孟加拉及阿薩姆兩路進擊不丹。隨後跟據1865年和約，不丹交出與印度交界的18個山口，包括德旺吉利，並割讓噶倫堡予英國。(Image 1)

Aug. The British force began campaign to take Sikkim in Mar 1888. Lieutenant Sandbach prepared to join the Sikkim Field Force in Sep 1888.
