 Qing Dynasty. Nepal merchant cover privated carried by Yizhan to Lhasa, showing the name of the addressee and “Postage Paid” annotation by ink-brush on reverse. Carriage of private mails by Yizhan was prohibited but the rule
was ignored by the couriers for the sake of profit.

 ca 1910 Imperial 4th Print PSC from Lhasa to Gyantse, tied by Lhasa type C2 trilingual h.s., alongside with Gyantse type C1 trilingual arrival h.s. According to “Tibet Stamps and Postal History” by Steve Chazen and Danny Wong,
only about 10 Imperial stationery cards from Tibet exist. Extremely scarce.
約1910年大清第四版郵資片自拉薩寄江孜，銷拉薩英漢藏C2型戳記。另鈐江孜英漢藏C1型到 達戳。王劍智及蔡盛著《青康藏郵驛史》記載，西藏清郵資片存世僅約十件，極為稀罕。(Image 1)

 1911 Gyantse (30 Mar / 29 Apr) to Lhasa, f.w. Tibet surch Coiling Dragon 1a on reverse, tied by Gyantse dollar dater (with “3rd” intead of “4th” month variety). Arrived Lhasa (2 May) with dollar dater. As it usually took only 3
to 4 days from Gyantse to Lhasa, the month on the Gyantse cds was probably wrong. Interesting.
1911.3.30 / 4.29 江孜寄拉薩，背貼西藏蟠龍2分，銷江孜大圓戳（月份應誤作“三”而非“四”）。5.2抵拉薩，鈐大圓到達戳。江孜寄拉薩通常只需三至四天，故江孜日戳之月份應是有誤，有趣。(Image 1)
