 1920 Harbin (6 Dec) to Samara, f.w. Coat of Arms surch Chinese currency horizontally 10c on 10k (Chan FR63) on reverse, tied by Harbin Russian PO T&S type 4 cds. Arrived Samara (11 Jan). As the Russian Post in Manchuria did
not provide surch Chinese currency issue, surch Chinese currency franking is already scarce, not to mention horizontal surch issues is rarer than diagonal surch issues. Cover with folds.

 1922 (16 Aug) Moscow to Harbin. Registered cover, f.w. Coat of Arms 10rb x9 on reverse. Arrived Harbin and levied 20c postage due with oval bilingual due mark. In combination with ROC postage due 10c in pair, tied by Harbin
bilingual arrival cds. On reverse attached with a slip stating unsuccessful delivery as the addressee was gone. Given the deterioration of relationships between Beiyang Government and USSR, Russian stamps were not recognized.

莫斯科寄哈爾濱。掛號封，背貼軍徽圖10盧布9枚。抵哈爾濱後鈐中文俄文欠資橢圓章，補貼民國欠資票1角雙連，銷哈爾濱腰框漢英日戳。 背面貼有憑單記錄收件人他去未能投遞。由於北洋政府與蘇俄關係惡化，故俄國票不被承認。(Image 1)
