2453 image1945 Peiping (22 Oct) to Changteh, returned to Peiping, f.w. SYS ovpt. North China $10 + 7th Anniv of North China GPO $30, in total of $40 registered express rate, tied by Peiping bilingual cds. Arrived Changteh (1 Dec). Returned to Peiping (4 Jan). This cover was returned probably due to the histilities between communist and nationalist after the war.

1945.10.22 北平寄彰德，退回北平，貼孫像加蓋華北10元 + 華北郵政總局七週年30元，合40元掛快郵資，銷北平三格漢英日戳。12.1抵彰德。1.4退回北平。此封應是因當地國共局勢緊張而退回。(Image 1) (Image 2) (Image 3)

2533 image1941 Mercantile Bank of China, Hong Kong (12 Dec) to Australia, detained in Hong Kong, f.w. Centenary of British Occupation 5c + Hong Kong KGVI 15c, tied by Victoria Hong Kong cds. Showing “DETAINED IN HONGKONGBY JAPANESE FROM DECEMBER 1941 TO SEPTEMBER 1945” cachet in violet. Latest recorded date for detained mail, being one of the two recorded examples. Extremely scarce.

1941.12.12 香港有利銀行寄澳大利亞，被扣留在港，貼開埠百週年5分 + 香港佐治六世1角5分，銷維多利亞日戳。鈐“DETAINED IN HONGKONGBY JAPANESE FROM DECEMBER 1941 TO SEPTEMBER 1945”紫色戳記。此為目前所見最晚之扣留例子，為存世兩件之一，稀罕萬分有如鳳毛麟角。(Image 1) (Image 2)

2537 image1942 (22 Jan) Hong Kong Post Office operation during Japanese occupation FDC, f.w. unovpt. Japanese issue from 1s to 30s, in total of 6, tied by Hong Kong Japanese style cds. The issuance of Taisho 1s stamp in Hong Kong is especiailly low, hence, very scarce.

1942.1.22 香港郵局在日本佔領下開業首日封，貼未加蓋日本票6枚，由1錢至30錢，銷香港日式戳。當中田澤形切手1錢在港發行量尤其低下，因而稀罕難得。(Image 1) (Image 2)
