 1909 Imperial Post registered receipt of a mail from Mengtsz to Hong Kong, applied with Mengtsz bilingual cds (dated “intercalary month”), alongside with “Mengtsz Hsimenwai” horizontal cachet. Registration fee to Hong Kong was
10c which is the same as international registration fee but this example was using receipt form for domestic registered mail. Illustration 11, p. 36 in “The Development of Yunnan Post System 1901-1949” by Mah Lang Moe.
1909年大清郵政掛號執據，記錄收到蒙自寄香港之掛號件，鈐蒙自腰框英漢閏月日戳 ，另見“蒙自西門外”橫戳。當時寄香港掛號資費為1角，與國際掛號資費相同，但此例使 用了國內掛號執據，有趣。馬蘭茂著《雲南郵政史1901-1949》第36頁圖11原件。(Image 1)

 1918 Likiang (8 Jul) to Norway, returned to sender, f.w. Junk 10c, tied by Likang bilingual cds. Transit Yunnanfu (20 Jul), Hokow (23 Jul). Censored in Italy. Arrived Norway (10 Dec). Returned to sender via London (17 Jan),
Canton (7 May). Alongside with “”RETURNED TO WRITER” bilingual h.s. Arrived Likiang (6 Jul) and re-sealed with Imperial Post label. Then further returned to Batang as the sender was not found. Only 2 covers applied with this type of Imperial Post
label were known. As Yunnan was remote, postal items of Imperial Post was still in use.
1918.7.8 麗江寄挪威，退回寄件人，貼帆船1角，銷麗江腰框英漢日戳。7.20經雲南府。於意大利檢查。12.10抵挪威 。退回寄件人，1.17經倫敦，5.7經廣州，鈐“退還原寄人”橫戳。7.6抵麗江，貼全中文“大清郵政官局示”重封封條。因
寄件人未著，再改退巴塘。此為兩件貼用此款封條之存世信封之一。由於雲南地位遙遠，故仍沿用清代郵政用品。(Image 1)

cover was dated on the 2nd day of new postage but still paid with old postage. Correct rate should be $15000. Double due amount was levied
