The Country Manor Collection of High Grade U.S. Stamps and except - October 8-9, 2021

In our Auction #362, we present "The Country Manor" collection of high grade United States stamps and exceptional Postal Stationery, formed by the late Gary L. Kurtz. Mr. Kurtz amassed much of his holding prior to the year 2000, and long before the advent of grading by expertizing bodies. It is a tribute to his unerring eye that the large majority of the more than 200 items we submitted for expertizing were awarded grades of 90, 95 and higher. In fact, Gary Kurtz’s collection now features several examples with a brand new "highest grade extant". You will also find many of the stamps and postal stationery offered here have not been on the market for 20-50 years, so you may now be seeing a lot of items for the first time.

Viewing for this sale will be available at the Boston Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Hong Kong Room, on Thursday Oct. 7th, from 10AM to 5PM.
